It’s been almost one year since I purchased my Badland Apex 12000 winch, so I thought I would leave a short review. I’ve used it a number of times; pulling stumps, bushes, and trees, recovering other vehicles, and self-recovery practice. The winch has performed flawlessly! My previous Jeep had a Badland ZXR 12000, a much less expensive winch.Winches heat up pretty fast and draw even more amps, best to run them for 30seconds to 1 minute then rest a few minutes this will give the alternator a chance to recharge battery as well. It did take a little fabricating to get it to fit and the cable is very tight against the grill. With the 2024 grill, I don't think that will be necessary.
