The L5P has an in-tank pump that keeps the entire fuel system under positive pressure, so there is no need for a lift pump. My LML would pretty much instantly start within less than a second of cranking when not freezing cold. I'll have to time them and see if there is really a significant difference or just seems like a long time to me.
