I have a 98 Prairie 400 that had a strange thing happen. Had been running fine, went to start it, got a brief flash of the panel lights then nothing. Checked main fuse, and the holder seemed like it wasn't holding the fuse properly, so I fixed that. Still no joy. Replaced main relay, still no joy.Remove the gas tank cover. Then remove the gas tank and you can easily get to the starter. Two bolts and one wire and the starter is ready to pull out and replace with a new one. Thanks for the interest.
