I recently got the chance to shoot the staccato P and really loved it. I then bought the edc x9 for a crazy price and it was worth every penny and more. I think it really comes down to size. If you are using it for edc I would choice the wilson as it is smaller.It comes down to what you want to do, The XC is a nice range toy, you cant really compete with it in a comp though, it put you in the open class and you are up against true open guns. You can do it, you are just gonna be out gunned. The P allows you to do much more if you are into the competition side of things.
